Awesome regains ECW World title

Mike Awesome regained the ECW World Heavyweight title from Masato Tanaka
at a TNN taping on December 23rd in White Plains, New York.
A crowd of 4500 fans saw the title change hands as Awesome and
Tanaka put on a fantastic match in ECW Executive Producer Paul Heyman's
hometown.
The title change comes six days after Tanaka won the
title from Awesome at a TNN Taping in Nashville, TN.
Awesome is now scheduled to defend the ECW World title against
Spike Dudley at ECW's Guilty as Charged PPV on January 9th from
Birmingham, AL.
