Following in the footsteps of father Paul, and 'uncle'

Carl LeDuc is
carrying on a proud tradition.
Paul LeDuc decided to become a professional wrestler in 1957, even though
people advised him against it because he was so small - only 5'10", 195
pounds.
He started at 18, and learned the ropes in Montreal, at the same gym where
Pat Patterson got his start. Paul then went to Mexico for two years, where
he learned to wrestle and put on some pounds.
In the 1960s, he convinced friend Michel Pigeon to become his brother Jos
LeDuc. Together, they made a formidable tag team and debuted together with
Stu Hart's Stampede wrestling in 1968. The LeDucs had great feuds with
Maurice 'Mad Dog' and Paul 'The Butcher' Vachon..
Paul LeDuc may be best known for getting married in the ring at the Montreal
Forum in 1971. He retired in 1978, and went to work for Quebecor. He has
since retired and is involved with
Jacques Rougeau Jr.'s International
Wrestling 2000 promotion, and manages and advises son Carl.

Joe Leduc, I remember him when I was a young lad he was in the ring in Hull, Quebec when he as six man pulling a rope on each side is of him. I said to myself, wow he is so powerful. My dad, grand-papa and my three brothers
when to see him and Paul lots of times. They were great wrestlers. I will remember him for all the good times we spent and all the good thing about our outings. My condolece to the Leduc family

I'm too young to had seen Mr Leduc wrestle in person. I'm only 26 years old
but I heard about him via a book and always wanted to know more about
him when a few years later I saw one of his articles and I saw his email so I
emailed him. Now every Friday I'm at the FLQ's galas (since I'm a manager
for them). He told me that I was the very first to email him. I always found
he had a good memories since a few months later I emailed him first he asked
me if I still had my email that I gave him my address (back then I don't have
it anymore) He perfectly remember me when I when the first time to a FLQ
show and when to greet him.
He is a really nice person. Last week we made a special memories scene for
the 1st years days of his federation . That was very nice.
I wish long life to his federation (FLQ - Federation de lutte quebecoise.
