WWF The Music: Volume 3

The World Wrestling Federation has pegged November 2 as the in-store
release date of WWF The Music: Volume 4.
The 14-track CD includes full-length entrance themes for Stone Cold
Steve Austin, Chris Jericho, the Big Show, Vince and Shane McMahon,
"Sexual Chocolate" Mark Henry, Test, Mankind, D'Lo Brown, Christian, Mr.
Ass, Triple H and Chyna, and the Undertaker. It also features the latest
themes for The Rock and Edge.
Beth Gibbs, vice-president of Koch Entertainment in Canada, says that
the album's predecessor (not surprisingly called WWF The Music: Volume
3) hit platiumn sales marks in Canada and the U.S. after only four weeks
on the market, and peaked in the top 10 on Billboard's music charts.
It is, therefore, also no surprise that a full-scale marketing blitz is
about to be launched for Volume 4.
Says Gibbs, "We'll be doing in-store give-away promotions with Sam's,
and radio promotions, including something large, I can't say what, that
we're working on with KISS-FM. We've also got the window at Virgin, and
we're hoping to get the billboards at SkyDome and Sunrise Records in
Toronto."
For those wrestling fans who hate loud, rowdy scenes, (all four of you)
the CD should be available for pre-order on the WWF website as of
mid-October.
