Captain can't 'C' right from wrong
So our beloved captain yells, Nyet! Then he climbs aboard the first plane for Switzerland. Poor Yashin. Imagine such poverty. Imagine not being able to afford Dom Perignon and having to settle for a bitter Swiss whine.
Now there's a captain with a fine example to set. You've got to know if Alexei was captaining a sinking ship, he'd be the first one into the water, taking the only life preserver with him.
Alexei Yashin is a fine young hockey player, but, as a captain and a team leader ... he stinks.
If the Senators are looking to make a point, they should strip the 'C' off Yashin's jersey and mail it to him.
Daniel Alfredsson may never be as talented a hockey player, but we'd expect he'd wear the special letter with more dignity and respect.
Good luck in your Swiss hockey career, Alexei. Oh, and if you run a little short of pocket change, if you need a few bucks to take your gal pal Carol Alt out to dinner ... don't call us.
