Milaine Thériault and her poster girl teammates have no regrets about last
year's decision to pose nude for a team calendar in order to raise funds for
the financially-challenged squad. In fact more than $50,000 was raised for
the project.
"The overall feedback from the calendar was very positive," said Thériault,
who has battled mononucleosis this year and is headed to her second Games.
"We made a lot money for the team. I doubt we'll do it again. The novelty
has worn off."
Thériault plans to race the 10-kilometre classic, the pursuit, relay,
sprints and 30 kilometre event at the Games.
"In 1998 we qualified at the last minute and tried to just enjoy the
moment," said Thériault, who has also competed in figure skating, judo,
badminton, running and mountain biking. "This year I've had a lot of time
to prepare and I'm going in there to get some good results."

Feb. 19 - Women's sprint: Milaine Theriault, Canmore, was 31st in qualifying, eliminated.
Feb. 15 - Women's pursuit: Milaine Theriault, Canmore, finished 35th overall (24th classical, 40th freestyle)
Feb. 12 - Women's 10-km classical: Milaine Theriault, Canmore, was 25th of 61 finalists
