One of Canada's finest is an apt description of Pascal Richard's professional and sporting life. Richard is an officer with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and serves double duty as one of the national skeleton program's most promising athletes. He is currently posted with the Hanna detachment of the RCMP and the small farming community has even sponsored Richard's Olympic dream.
This season he placed 17th in the World Cup standings, his best result an eighth place at the World Cup final in St. Moritz. His best career World Cuip result was fourth last season at Nagano, Japan.
