THE SKINNY: A guy who should be familiar with the international ice surface
after playing in four world championships... Has displayed a good scoring
touch this season as he has already surpassed his previous career best of 12
with the Canucks last season... First pick overall by the Florida Panthers in
the 1994 draft... After a great rookie season in which he helped the Panthers
make the Stanley Cup final, his play, especially his physical play, tailed
off. Traded to the Canucks as part of the Pavel Bure deal in 1999... Play
really started to take off last season as he became a force at both ends of
the rink... Like all the defencemen selected, has good mobility and the
ability to close the gap fast... Can play it tough if need be.
FAMOUS FOR: JovoCop
INFAMOUS FOR: Battles with Lindros.
