THE SKINNY:
Has been improving steadily over the last couple of years, but took a giant leap forward this season as he led the league in scoring until overtaken by Vancouver's Markus Naslund... He can pretty much do it all. Has good hands and is a strong skater... Wins more than his share of battles along the boards... Can also kill penalties... Biggest improvement in his game this season has been in the area of consistency... The Dallas Star first pick, 11th overall in 1995... Traded by the Stars with Corey Millen to the Flames for another member of Team Canada, Joe Nieuwendyk... Has increased goal total each of the last four years (28, 29, 31 and 31 so far this year).

FAMOUS FOR:
Leading NHL in scoring until recently.

INFAMOUS FOR:
One of only three players in the NHL whose last names begin with "I".

SHOOTOUT POTENTIAL:
Hasn't had an NHL penalty shot.
