Sara-Maude Boucher earned her Olympic berth with a 12th place finish in the slalom combined at the world championships last season. That result is an indication of her versatility in the sport. She started her career as a speed skier then turned her focus to the technical events for a couple of years. However last season she was back in the downhill and super G.

"After Christmas I trained with the speed team and things started to go well, " she said. "On the technical team I learned how to ski again. Now I feel much better on my downhill skis."
