BASKETBALL
Men: Canada def. Angola 99-54, raising record to 2-0 in Pool B,
BOXING
Flyweight (51-kg): Andrew Kooner, Tecumseh, Ont., def. Nacer Keddam, Algeria, 18-11, in opening-round bout, advanced to next round.
Light middleweight (71-kg): Scott MacIntosh, Sydney, N.S., def. Sakio Bika Mbah, Cameroon, 8-3, in opening-round bout, advanced to next round.
CANOE-KAYAK
Slalom
Men's C-2 doubles: Benoit Gauthier, Lac-Alouette, Que., and Tyler Lawlor, Ottawa, finished ninth in qualifying, advanced to final.
Men's K-1 singles: David Ford, Edmonton, finished 22nd in qualifying, eliminated.
CYCLING
