The former Calgary Aquabelle moved to Toronto in 1998 to join Synchro
Canada's Centre of Excellence team. Her favorite aspects about synchro, a
sport she started at age eight, are the challenges and team work. She has
a solid international background with bronze medal victories in solo at
both the 1997 and 1998 Swiss Open and she was a member of the Canadian team
that won gold at the 1995 world junior championships. The 22-year-old is a
certified lifeguard and would like to pursue a career with a sports
connection. She has deep sports roots. Her father was a competitive
waterpolo player and swimmer while her brother was a national level
freestyle skier in moguls.
