 Catherine Garceau is another Canadian team member who has quietly gained some important international experience over the past few seasons. The three-time national champion has swum for Canada at every major international event since the 1997 FINA World Cup. But it was at the 1995 world junior championships that the 22-year-old Montréal native made her first international mark winning gold in the team event. The computer science student recently completed a public speaking course and would like to pursue a career in business or accounting. Garceau moved to Toronto in 1998 when she qualified for the Centre of Excellence team.
